How to Install Joomla Version 2.5.x.x

If you do not already have a domain and hosting, you can still learn joomla installation on your computer, or so-called localhost installation. and to be able to install joomla on your computer, you must first install the wamp and xampp webserver. Follow the steps in Joomla on localhost installation below:

• you must have data joomla, you can download here www.joomla.org 
• after downloading, you enter or paste the joomla file on C: \ xampp \ htdocs 
• paste after you extract the data joomla 
• and replace the folder extract with the name joomla
• make sure your service XAMPP is running  
• after service XAMPP is running, you open your browser (Firefox, Opera) 
• typing http://localhost/joomla
•  it will be fixed on Joomla instalation on your computer

Select Language,I recommended you to select english (United Kingdom)

 Click Next

Fill on the root, password: blank, with a database named "dbjoomla"
FTP Configuration
Click Next
Main Configuration

you must have database "dbjoomla" on your phpmyadmin  you can follow the link here

Your email: ajonksb@gmail.com
password: admin
click Sample Data
Next
Finish

Fill the data as you want

 
Click the Remove Installation
Click Administrator
 
Fill on your username and password
If it can enter the administrator login, then you successfully install Joomla on your computer 
 
to see your website, you can enter a url to http://localhost/joomla
